If you’re looking for a pleasant and very beautiful mountain lake to visit then look no further than Kolob Reservoir. It’s a great place to go fishing or kayaking as the setting is hard to beat.

You can launch motor boats from the dock and fish until your hearts content. They do have several restrictions for fishing though, primarily you must use live bait only, so for you power bait fishers out there you’ll have to switch it up.
A lot of people go camping there as there are numerous campsites around the shoreline, and they have several strategically placed port-a-pottys available during the summer months.
If you’re looking for a place to go swimming or wakeboarding this probably isn’t your lake. The water will be cold, very cold.
