Archangel Falls in Zion

I never knew this was called Archangel Falls, but that makes me like it that much more. This place is found within the Subway hike of Zion National Park. I really like this part of the Subway, for a number of reasons, first and foremost it’s stunning to see these cascading waterfalls, second it also means the canyons opened up and you’re granted a view of the valley below.

If you’re paying attention when hiking the Subway, then soon after these Archangel Falls you’ll be able to see some dinosaur tracks along the way. They are actually right next to the trail as you’re nearing the hike out.

The Subway is one of the best hikes in all of Utah for a number of reasons, but these falls are one of them. If you get the chance to hike the Subway make certain you take it.
