INFORMATION BELOW:

One of Arizona's oldest and most visited national park, Grand Canyon Az Lodges is located in Northern Arizona. Home of some of the worlds spectacular camping.

There are campgrounds both on the floor and on top of the Grand Canyon Az Lodges . To camp in the bottom of the Grand Canyon Az Lodges you need a permit which must be obtained through the backcountry office. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Camping in developed camp grounds with full hookups.
For South Rim camping (RV and tent) reservations at "Flintstone's Camp Ground" call 1-928-635-2600., located at the junction of hwy.180 and hwy. 64, about 30 minutes from the South entrance to the
Grand Canyon Az Lodges . Advanced reservations accepted and highly recommended. Limited supply of full hookup's. 

For the North Rim (217 miles from the South Rim), Kaibab Camper Village 1-928-643-7804 or 1-928-526-0924

Permit request forms to camp down in the canyon can be ordered by sending self address and stamped envelope and one dollar to Grand Canyon Az Lodges Reservations, box 146, Grand Canyon Az Lodges , AZ, 86023.

Camping equipment rental available (tents, sleeping bags, etc.) on-line below.

You can also order a map showing area attractions and free camp sites areas around Grand Canyon Az Lodges (south rim only at this time). You can dry camp in the Kaibab National Forest outside the Grand Canyon Az Lodges for free and our map will show you the forest service road numbers to use.
