 About three million tourists from all over the world make a pilgrimage here to see this  beautiful national park. However, there is much more than just the scenery - albeit the main attraction - here that beckons people to come. They also come to play. Zion National Park is so great that simply stopping on the side of the road to take in the view is not sufficient - action is required. For instance, many people enjoy hiking the narrows to explore slot canyons in the park. Some go a step further by actually climbing in these canyons - an activity called canyoneering.
