Both
the Island in the Sky and the Needles districts
have short interpretive trails that are ideal
for kids, as well as videos and fun exhibits
in the visitor centers.
Kids
might also enjoy attending an interpretive talk
or walk. Ranger-led programs are conducted daily
spring through fall. Schedules are posted on
park bulletin boards.
JUNIOR
RANGER PROGRAM
Canyonlands has a Junior Ranger program with
an activity book that kids can complete to earn
their badge. Activity books are available at
the Island in the Sky and Needles district visitor
centers.
