River Running

One of the most refreshing ways to view a stunning desert landscape is to float down a river. You will find that river running provides a cool way to avoid dreaded tired feet, and excitement is always possible. In St. George, the Virgin River offers such opportunities especially during the spring when snow in the mountains melts. During this season rafters will enjoy class 2, 3, and 4 class rapids.

Companies in the area cater to river running, and provide river tours. These companies have all necessary equipment and have trained guides.
