There are many things that families can
do together in Springdale, Utah. For instance,
many of the trails in Zion
National Park are suitable for hikers
of all ages and physical fitness levels.
The trail to Lower Emerald Pools is short,
paved, and handicap accessible. Besides
hiking,
families enjoy riding
bikes up the main road of Zion Canyon.
Many families also spend time together
as they drive one of the scenic
drives near the national park.
Families also enjoy participating in
other recreational activities.
For instance, riding
ATVs together or riding
horseback is a great way for the entire
family to explore together while having
fun.
Another fun thing to do as a family is
to visit the ghost
towns near Springdale. Grafton is
especially fun since two Western films
staring Robert Redford were partially
filmed there.
During the summer families enjoy the
concert series at the O.C.
Tanner Amphitheater. The series features
many different types of acts - including
those that provide comedic performances.
