For the more adventurous, canyoneering
is an excellent way to see the area. If
you like rock climbing and repelling,
you will love your experience in the area.
There are many narrow canyons, nooks,
and crannies in the mountains here - you
can escape the midday heat.
Since this
is an ideal place for canyoneering, the
American Canyoneering Association had
a rendezvous here in 2005. Park rangers
and the Zion
Canyoneering Coalition can provide
you with more information about canyoneering
in this area.
Zion Rock & Mountain Guides
Offering "the most comprehensive guide service in southern Utah," Zion Rock & Mountain Guides provides great guided tours and other resources created and run by experienced outdoor professionals who are passionate about Zion National Park.
Paragon Climbing
Paragon offers rock climbing instruction using numerous courses throughout southwestern Utah. Private guided tours are also available for some of the area's most scenic climbs.
