Lodge in Snow Canyon
The
Canyons has spent over $33 million dollars upgrading
and expanding their resort. The resort now covers
over 3,300 acres that stretch over seven mountain
peaks.
The lift system was one of the major improvements,
with 10 new lifts including an eight-passenger gondola
and five high-speed quads.
Location: The
Canyons is located 33 highway miles east of the
Salt Lake International Airport on Interstate 80.
Delta, Southwest, American, Continental, Northwest,
TWA and United Fly to Salt Lake City daily.
Lift
Ticket Prices:
Adult full day $35 to $60 depending on time of year.
Adult half day $35 to $45 depending on time of year.

New
Terrain: Peak 5 is the newest served
by a 4 passenger chair lift. The Canyons now has
3300 skiable/rideable acres spread across 7 mountains.
Snowmaking:
The Canyons has expanded thier snowmaking coverage
to include the Saddleback and Tombstone.
Parking
and Shuttle: Season passholders will
have a dedicated parking lot up near the new entrance
to the resort - no shuttle will be needed.
Equipment
Rental: The Canyons has two full service
ski and snowboard shops, The Canyons Mountain Sports
and One Sweet Ride.
Sundial
Lodge: The Sundial Lodge will open in
the 2000 winter season. This condominium lodge offers
studiosand 1 and 2 bedroom unit's.
Grand
Summit Amenities: The amentities include
fully furnished hotel rooms and studios; 1, 2 and
3 bedroom suites; luxurious penthouses; and full
service health club with a heated swim in/swim out
pool, whirlpools, steamroom and sauna Massage and
other pampering treatments.
Kids
Central: This includes a fully licensed
day care center for children 18 months or older,
and ski/snowboard clinics for kids and rentals.
There is also a "skier in diapers" program that
offers private instruction for toddlers 18 months
to 3 years.
Adventure
Zone: The Adventure Zone offers Turbo
Tubing in a lighted tubing park. Snowmobiling is
also available.
