| Visitors flock to Moab knowing that the desert landscape is loaded with opportunities to try things they don’t normally get to do at home. With a little imagination you can envision yourself traversing slickrock on your mountain bike, ripping through whitewater on a rafting excursion, or climbing boulders on a jeep safari. And that is only the beginning; once you arrive you will see why Moab is such a hot spot for outdoor adventurers. There is so much to do in and see in Moab that you’ll need more than a couple of days to experience it. In addition to being the recognized universal center for mountain biking, Moab is also the gateway to the nearby Dead Horse Point State Park, Canyonlands National Park and Arches National Park. These parks are home to some incredible hikes, scenery, and geological treasures. If you are looking to cover as much ground as possible you may opt for an ATV or 4x4 tour, or if you are the type that prefers to paddle we suggest exploring Moab’s red rock canyons on a guided river rafting excursion.
