The main Interstate near Las Vegas is Interstate 15 which connects the city with Los Angeles, California and Salt Lake City, Utah. Interstate 40 is the next closest Interstate which runs south of Las Vegas near Kingman, Arizona and connects Southern California (where it intersects with Interstate 15 in Barstow) with Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina. Other Interstates like 5, 10, 70, and 80 connect with Interstate 15 within a half a day's drive of Las Vegas, and they provide access to most of the country. Beyond driving in a car, these interstates are also used by bus companies like Greyhound Bus Lines.
