Lake Mead National Recreational Area is a great place for water sports in the Las Vegas region. Both Lake Mead and Mohave have numerous marinas that serve all types of boats - including house boats. People come from all over the region to swim, water ski, jet ski, wake board, tube, kayak, and scuba dive here. Lake Mead is also known for its warm waters.
