Biking

The Las Vegas area is a great place for bike riding since many recreation areas surround the city. For instance, the Red Rock National Conservation Area is a very scenic place to ride with its two thousand foot tall cliffs and a 13 mile long loop which provides access to the area and a great opportunity for fun and exercise. Keep in mind that early morning and evenings are perhaps the best times to ride during the summer since day time temperatures are harsh. Also remember to stay hydrated since Southern Nevada is quite dry.
