Iron Mission State Park
Located on 11 acres just north of downtown Cedar City, Iron Mission State Park is home to a museum chronicling Iron County history since 1850 through displays of over 200 Southern Paiute artifacts, pioneer relics, farm implements, and an impressive collection of horse-drawn wagons, including mail carts, a hearse and an overland stagecoach. The grounds are home to a few historic buildings relocated from their original sites, including a former sheep shed and the Hunter House, one of the first homes built in the area.
