Have you ever wondered if you can go mountain biking in Zion? Well you can, and this video is proof! There are some places that are actually outside of the park, but they are still right next to Zion National Park. So if it’s mountain biking you’re after it’s mountain biking you’ve found. Many of the additional trails outside of Zion will give you glimpses of the park as you rally down that mountain side, with only two wheels and a prayer that you’ll make it to the bottom.
It’s video’s like these that make me wish it was spring this second. With the summer winds blowing across my face as I sit atop my Specialized Rock Hopper. Mountain biking pulls a different kind of person, a person who isn’t afraid to take a spill every once and awhile. Isn’t afraid to taste dirt between their teeth. Because they know that the payout is totally worth it. That seeing that vista overlooking Zion, or seeing Goosebury Mesa from atop your bike’s saddle, is totally worth it.
In fact neighboring Goosebury Mesa is one of the best mountain biking trails you can find anywhere in Utah. If you haven’t experienced it, then now’s the time to take it for a spin. But keep in mind it isn’t for the faint of heart.
