If you find yourself looking for things to do in southern Utah, or if you’re looking for southern Utah travel ideas, then biking in Zion National Park has got to be on your list! As you can see from this image it is simply a stunning place to visit, and biking it adds that much more excitement to an amazing place.
This image was captured on the Pa’rus trail after having ridden all the way up the canyon to the narrows trail head. After the end of the Pa’rus trail you’ve either got to ride on the road up, or catch a ride from one of the buses that will take you to the top. Then you can ride down getting an entirely different feel for the canyon.
Traveling to southern Utah offers a litany of things to do, from hiking, camping, and ATV riding. All of these things are fun and offer so much to so many people. But after riding my mountain bike through Zion, past Weeping Rock and Emerald Pools, then finally reaching the top; I couldn’t help but ask myself why on earth I had never done it before?
I stopped at the Big Bend on the way back down to take in the view of the Great White Throne and Angels Landing. I also stopped at a little waterfall with a deck along the way. It was truly a fantastic experience that I won’t soon forget.
So again if you find yourself in southern Utah, or St George and looking for things to do, biking in Zion should without a doubt be added to your list.
