There is an amazing and beautiful canyon near south east Utah (Page AZ) called Antelope Canyon. You’ve no doubt seen images from it a thousand times before, but for some reason I never tire of them. The canyon itself is an absolute work of art created by nature herself.
To get access you’ve got to be guided by the Navajo Nation. Here’s a link to the their website for information (link). There are several different parts of the canyon you can visit from the Upper Antelope and Lower Antelope, to the Rainbow Bridge.
To see it for yourself and not just in pictures is truly an experience. It’s almost like stepping outside of the world for a few hours of wonder, as you just can’t quite grasp how something so intricate was formed all by itself.
Antelope Canyon in really something that you should see if you get the opportunity. It’s located in Page Arizona, just below Lake Powell; so next time you’re heading that way to hit up some wakeboarding, add an extra day for a trip to see Antelope.
